I will be in Carolina Beach performing at Comedy at the Horn at Blackhorn Bar & Grill Wenesday Night July 28th. Joining me will be Grady Ray, Nick Edgman and event producer and host Mersh.

I am very excited to return to Carolina Beach, North Carolina this coming Wednesday to do comedy at the place where Comedy by the Beach, my first stand-up comedy series, was born. In September of 2007 we did our first show at The Blackhorn and continued to do shows each month until November 2008. I am very excited to see that Mersh has revived comedy in Carolina Beach with Comedy at the Horn. His series began less then a month ago and has received great responses from both audiences and the new owners of Blackhorn Bar & Grill.
This Wednesday will be my first time stepping on the stage in Carolina Beach in nearly two years and my first full set in the area since I relocated from Carolina Beach to Knoxville in August 2009. I am going to do over an hour of material including bringing back the guitar and included a special guest or two.
This truly is not a show to be missed and I urge my friends and fans near the Cape Fear Coast to come out this Wednesday at 9pm to witness the show.
I will be bringing two great comics from Eastern Tennessee; Grady Ray, a comic and police officer from Cocke County, and Nick Edgman, a fellow comedian and show producer from Knoxville.

I really enjoyed my time in Chattanooga. A little more liberal of a downtown folk then the Knoxville area. JJ’s Bohemia was a gathering of stoners and tattooed freaks, which was nice and an unusual environment for stand-up comedy simultaneously. Big props to Joel Ruiz from brining me down to make some jokes from his friends and the bars regulars. A nice intimate crowd that reminded me of a Comedy by the Beach gig on the road. I took a trip into the Smoky’s with family and we came across a new business in Gatlinburg that was giving away free samples of legal moonshine. The joint was called Ye Ole Smoky Mountain Distillery and is located directly across from the Scott Compton Magic Shop in downtown Gatlinburg (as opposed to suburban Gatlinburg…), Tennessee. I think the address is 631 Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN. Got to check out a little of Scott’s magic show directly after having my second sample of legal moonshine from the first Moonshine Distillery/Bar in Tennessee, and possibly in the country. (No desire to research that so google that shit yourselves and respond to this blog that I am wrong. Either way, I have had moonshine before and this was as close as I think one would get in a legal environment. Here is a video of the experience complete with Mullet Siting.
I would include video from Mr. Compton Scott but I always have reservations of putting up performance footage when I can’t find any other video online from the performer. Usually it’s good exposure either way, but sometimes they get pissed..
